What is a Self Storage Auction?
On rare occasions and for a variety of reason, renters default on their payments for self storage lockers or RV storage spaces. If the account is not cleared up according to terms set out in our rental agreement, the items in the unit become the property of A Storage Company Inc. These items are then sold at periodic self storage auctions.
What are you buying?
You can acquire a large amount of items at a very reasonable price well below replacement cost. Most units contain household goods, furniture, electronics, clothing, jewelry, automotive parts, tires, tools, power tools, garden equipment, toys, recreational items like skis, skidoos, quads, bicycles, skates, construction equipment, spare parts you name it!
What can you expect?
The locker door will be opened for you to view the contents. You must view the contents from the edge of the door and what you see may be limited as you are not permitted to enter the locker. Alternatively pictures or a video clip of the contents or individual items will be posted on this page.
Pending on the type of auction, purchasers must make a bid for the entire contents of the locker or for individual items offered for auction sale and assume the risk of finding treasures – or trash – buried within the boxes.
The bid amount must be paid in full by cash, credit card or certified cheque and submitted with your bid. Unsuccessful bidders will have their money refunded in full on the acceptance date.
In some cases, a minimum starting bid will be posted. Bids lower than the minimum starting bid $ amount will be rejected.
The successful bidder must remove all contents within 7 days from the bid acceptance date.
The successful bidder assumes all liability whatsoever with the purchased contents.

Terms & Conditions:
1. This bid is for the entire contents of lockers, RV's or individual items offered
for auction sale on our web site.
2. Bids must be submitted by postal mail, email, fax or in person and remain
firm and are non-cancelable.
3. Only Bids that are paid in full will be considered.
4. Unsuccessful bids will have their payment refunded / returned in full on the
acceptance date of the successful bid.
5. By submitting this bid, the bidder confirms to have viewed and is satisfied
with the goods / items up for auction either in person or the pictures / video
clips posted on our website.
6. The successful bidder assumes all liabilities whatsoever with the purchased
goods / items and holds A Storage Company Inc. and its affiliates completely and absolutely harmless and not liable for any and all liability including injury
and absolutely harmless and not liable for any and all liability including injury arising from the purchase, removal and transport of the goods / items.
7. The successful bidder must remove all goods / items within 7 days from the
bid acceptance date. Failing to do so, will result in the goods / items to be
disposed of by A Storage Company Inc. without any compensation to the
buyer.
8. Viewing dates means the dates the contents / items can be viewed in person
between 3pm and 5 pm. The locker door will be opened for you to view the
contents / items. You must view the contents / items from the edge of the
door and what you see may be limited as you are not permitted to enter the
locker.
9. Bid due date is the date the bid and the payment in full must be submitted by no later than 4 pm.
10. Bid acceptance date is the date on which all bids are reviewed and the
successful bidder is chosen.
11. A Storage Company Inc. and its affiliates reserves the right to reject any or all
bids and may not accept the highest bidder.
12. All goods are auction off / sold on a as is and where is basis. No warranties
or representations are made whatsoever.
