Customer inquiries:

If you inquire by phone, email or in person about space availability, rental rates or other general information related to our storage facility and services we provide, we do not require any of your personal information. Email inquiries will require your name and email address. We may ask you to provide us with your name, phone number, postal code and email address so that we can keep track of where our customers are coming from and how you heard about us.

You decide to rent from us and become our customer:

At this point we will require your name, address, phone numbers, email address, employer, drivers license, other ID’s, date of birth, next of kin and your credit card or bank account information.

We use the information we collect about you for the following;

Your name, address, phone numbers, and email address is all information required in order for you to enter into a legal contract known as a “Rental Agreement” with A Storage Company Inc.
Your Employment Information is required in the event that we need to get a hold of you during regular working hours as well as in the event that your account becomes delinquent. It is important that we have information available that allows our office to contact you.
Your drivers license, other ID’s, date of birth, next of kin are all information required in the event of an emergency or in the event of account difficulties. In the unfortunate event of unpaid accounts or inability to reach customers or kin of customers, we may be forced to, and have the right to take possession of stored belongings and the right to hold auctions as per the Rental Agreement.
Your credit card or bank account information is required for payment of your rent or refunds given to you.
If you are unwilling to give us the above information, we reserve the right to refuse you as a customer. Your information as stated above however, will be kept private and will not be used for any purpose other than what is expressly stated in this policy.

Computers, Private Information and “Cookies”:

"Cookies" are codes that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Most sites and your computer use cookies.
